Francine Voss Young is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) who specializes in urology, treating benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), lower urinary tract symptoms, kidney stones, urinary tract infections, and bladder cancer. Her work has a special focus on prostate cancer.
She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (Magna Cum Laude) and a Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Southern Connecticut State University.
Prior to joining Urology Associates of Central California (UACC) in 2017, she worked as a registered nurse in Connecticut at the cardiothoracic ICU at Yale New Haven Hospital, as well as in the post anesthesia care unit at the William W. Backus Hospital. Francine holds hospital privileges at Community Regional Medical Centers and at Saint Agnes Medical Center.
Francine is an active member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She also speaks fluent Portuguese.
